MonitorMyStuff.com is not responsible for the content of messages sent from the accounts of our members. MonitorMyStuff.Com reserves the right to remove any account that contains alerts that are deemed by us to use offensive language or are found by us to be offensive in nature.

Accounts, alerts and content provided by MonitorMyStuff.com and any information stored in our system by our members (including personal information, alerts and other data) is deemed to be the property of MonitorMyStuff.com.

MonitorMyStuff.com is a secure site. All communications when logged in to our member site are encrypted and secured by secure protocols (SSL). Email messages and alerts will be sent via standard email protocols.

When you register devices/accounts to receive notifications (using the “Add Devices” feature) you must confirm (via the device or account registered) that you are willing to accept alerts from your MMS account. You must be the legal owner of the device or account registered in order to confirm registration and allow it to receive messages.

MonitorMyStuff.com promises to never sell your personal information or disclose your personal configuration details for your account. We do reserve the right to remove users that abuse our service.

If your account becomes inactive (is not accessed for more than 6 consecutive months) we will automatically remove it from MonitorMyStuff.com.

Verified devices/accounts will receive messages and alerts you specify. Devices or accounts can be removed at any time by simply forwarding any alert to DeleteMyDevice@mmstuff.com and including the word "REMOVE" (uppercase) in the Subject text. The device will be immediately deleted from the MMS account.

Age Restrictions

If you are under age 13, please do not attempt to register for MonitorMyStuff.com or provide any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from a child under age 13, please contact us through our “Contact Us” page.

We strongly recommend that minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet and we encourage parents to teach their children about safe internet use practices.

Information we may collect and disclose
Site activity information. We may keep track of alert history, configuration details and usage statistics, such as connection times and sending and receiving of alerts.

Access Device and Browser Information. When you access MonitorMyStuff.com from a computer, mobile phone, or other device, we may collect information from that device about your browser type, location, and IP address, as well as the pages you visit. We may collect information regarding the type of device or account and where it is located (city/state or province/region).

Cookie Information. We use "cookies" (small pieces of data we store for an extended period of time on your computer, mobile phone, or other device) to make MonitorMyStuff.com easier to use, possibly to make advertising better, and to protect both you and MonitorMyStuff.com. For example, We use them to confirm that you are logged into MonitorMyStuff.com, and to know when you are interacting with MonitorMyStuff.com. You can remove or block cookies using the settings in your browser, but in some cases that may impact your ability to use MonitorMyStuff.com.

We may use information about your experience and share it for the following reasons

To manage our service. We use the information we collect to provide our services and features to you, to measure and improve those services and features, and to provide you with customer support. We use the information to prevent potentially illegal activities, and to enforce our Privacy Policies. We also may use a variety of technological systems to detect and address system abuse such as spam. These efforts may on occasion result in a temporary or permanent suspension or termination of some member accounts.

To contact you. We may contact you with service-related announcements from time to time. You may opt out of all communications except essential updates on your account preferences page. We may include content you see on MonitorMyStuff.com in the emails we send to you.

When you invite a friend to join. When you ask us to invite a friend to join MonitorMyStuff.com, we will send your friend a message on your behalf using your name. You can see who has accepted your invitations, send reminders, and delete your friends’ email addresses on your account preferences page.
When you choose to share your information with vendors and other marketing organizations. You may choose to share information with marketing organizations and vendors that promote our site. This is entirely at your discretion and we will not provide your personal information to these marketers without your consent.

To help improve or promote our service. Sometimes we share aggregated information with third parties to help improve or promote our service. But we only do so in such a way that no individual member can be identified or linked to any specific action or information.

To respond to legal requests and prevent harm. We may disclose information pursuant to subpoenas, court orders, or other requests (including criminal and civil matters) if we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law. This may include respecting requests from jurisdictions outside of the United States where we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law under the local laws in that jurisdiction, apply to users from that jurisdiction, and are consistent with generally accepted international standards.
